Use ProductKit in your AI chats

ProductKit ships a remote MCP server. Add one URL to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-capable client and ask for keyword ideas and real keyword difficulty right inside the chat — no API keys, no copy-paste.

Endpoint

https://getproductkit.vercel.app/api/mcp

Transport: Streamable HTTP. That's the only thing most clients need.

Set it up

Claude Code (CLI)

Run this in your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http productkit https://getproductkit.vercel.app/api/mcp

Then type /mcpin a session to confirm it's connected.

Claude Desktop & claude.ai

Open Settings → Connectors.
Click Add custom connector.
Name it “ProductKit” and paste the endpoint URL below.

Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or a project's .cursor/mcp.json):

VS Code (Copilot), Windsurf, and most clients accept the same JSON shape — a named server pointing at the HTTP URL:

If a client asks for a “type”, choose http / streamable-http.

keyword_ideas

Expand a seed keyword into related ideas and questions with volume and difficulty labels.

SEO difficulty score (0–100), referring domains needed to rank top 10, and the current top-10 search results.

Run your whole project with a key

Sign in, open your project and pick Connect MCPin the account menu to create an API key. With it, your AI client can do everything you can in the dashboard. Ask it to “set up ProductKitfor this project” and it walks through what's left.
