SERP Checker: Who Ranks on Page One

Before you write for a keyword, look at who already ranks for it. This SERP checker shows the top ten Google results for any keyword and country, with each page's Domain Rating, URL Rating and estimated organic traffic.

What to look for in a SERP

The results page tells you what Google thinks the searcher wants. If page one is all listicles, a product page will struggle. If it is dominated by forums, there may be room for a better, more complete answer.

  • Content type: guides, tools, product pages, comparisons or forums.
  • Authority spread: are there any low-DR sites ranking? That is a sign the keyword is winnable.
  • Traffic concentration: if the top result takes most of the traffic, position one matters much more than position five.

Domain Rating vs URL Rating

Domain Rating (DR) reflects the strength of a whole website's backlink profile. URL Rating (UR) reflects the strength of the individual page. A high-DR site with a low-UR page is often easier to outrank than a mid-DR site with a heavily linked page.

Frequently asked questions

How often do SERP results change?

Rankings shift constantly, especially for competitive and news-driven keywords. Treat the snapshot as current direction rather than a fixed ranking.

Why does estimated traffic not match my analytics?

Traffic estimates are modelled from rankings and search volume. They are useful for comparing pages, but your own analytics will always be the source of truth for your site.
